Frank is proud to have helped many market leading national, regional, and local companies select as well as negotiate the purchase or lease of high volume locations. The following are some of the retail and restaurant companies whom he has helped select “Home Run” locations: Bonefish Grill, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dewey’s Pizza, Donatos, First Watch, Graeter’s Ice Cream, Izzy’s, McDonald’s, Servatii’s Bakery, Subway, TOM and CHEE, United Dairy Farmers, Walgreens, and Wendy’s.

Frank’s real estate background includes having been a commercial Realtor, the Leasing and Sales Director for two diversified developers, and, the Real Estate Director for Shark Tank favorite TOM and CHEE. In addition, he has taught retail and restaurant site selection continuing education classes at the local, state and university levels, and, been an adjunct faculty member.

Prior to joining the commercial real estate profession, Frank was employed as a City Planning Director for two small communities – one located in Southwest Ohio and the other on the Central Coast of California. In these important leadership positions, he regularly worked with property owners, business owners, and developers. He also managed planning and zoning staffs, and, enjoyed outstanding success as a trusted advisor to City Managers, City Councils, City Planning Commissions, and Boards of Architectural Review.

Frank earned his BA degree from the University at Albany in New York State. Here he majored in both History and Geography. He earned his Master’s degree in Urban Geography from the University of Cincinnati.

Frank’s first book, The ABC’s of Site Selection, provided readers with an introduction on how to pick “Home Run” retail and restaurant locations. It proved to be a popular guidebook and encouraged him to write a more comprehensive, more detailed book on the complexities of retail and restaurant site selection.
